As reported by KYW1060, a lawsuit has been filed against Valley Forge Military Academy "alleging the prep school in Radnor Township [Pennsylvania] 'enabled a culture of abuse' among its students." As reported the lawsuit claims that "Valley Forge Military Academy did not take steps to protect a student after numerous complaints of abuse, and it says the school never reported that abuse." As further reported, the lawsuit claims that the school "did not have proper procedures in place to protect students. It also claims administrators knew, or should have known kids were being abused, but that abuse was allowed to continue by the culture and environment created and allowed by the staff." As reported by 6ABC, in March 2019 a student "was taken to the hospital after an alleged assault at Valley Forge Military Academy, which was just one of six reported incidents [that] past weekend." According 6ABC, the cadet "was rushed to an area hospital. Sources said he suffered a broken nose, bruised ribs and a busted lip." The Main Line Times reported a former VFMAC Title IX officer to filed a federal Title IX complaint in February 2015, "incidents that he contends constitute a 'systemic problem' at the school." It was further reported that some of the incidents in that "Title IX complaint include: a group of male band members who planned to film one of them having sex with a female cadet while she was drunk during a band trip to London. A 15-year-old male student who forced another 15-year-old male to have sex in a dorm room. A hazing ritual among the high school age students called 'tooth pasting' that involved sodomy with objects was uncovered. A female cadet claimed that she was raped at a Halloween party off campus."
