Rite Aid Generic Prescription Drug Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Rite Aid Corporation due to the pricing structure of generic drugs under its Rx Savings Program (RSP) during the period of January 1, 2008 and June 30, 2017.  Under the RSP, customers paying cash are eligible to receive a "usual and customary" price for the generic drug that may be less than the insurance copayment for a customer using insurance.   It is alleged that by charging different prices to insured customers, Rite Aid is engaging in a "false, deceptive, and unfair pricing scheme."  If you have used medical insurance to pay for a prescription generic drug at Rite Aid during the time period stated above, please contact us.
