Philadelphia Energy Solutions Employee WARN Act

Join the Class Action Lawsuit
Investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Philadelphia Energy Solutions (PES) which announced that it will seek to permanently shut down its oil refinery following a massive fire.  The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act stipulates that employers give employees at least 60 days notice prior to termination. It has been reported that "[w]orkers at the complex were leaving the refinery . . ., some escorted by security, others alone, carrying boxes with personal belongings to their cars, with several confirming they had been laid off. Employees have been instructed to immediately begin the process of mothballing units, sources familiar with the company’s plans said. . . . About 100 non-union employees will be laid off immediately, with a 'significant” number of the 700 union employees expected to lose their jobs in mid-July, the sources said.'" If you were employed by Philadelphia Energy Solutions and were laid off without 60 days notice, please submit your information below.
