Old Country Buffet Employee WARN Act Class Action

Investigating a nationwide class action lawsuit on behalf of employees of Old Country Buffet who abruptly lost their jobs after the restaurant chain closed 92 locations in March. Under federal law, if an employer plans to close a business that will cause more than 50 employees to loose their jobs, the employer must provide a 60-day notice of the closure. Any employer who violates this federal law, entitled the WARN Act, is liable to former employees for 60-days worth of back pay and benefits. If you are a former Old Country Buffet employee who lost their job and was not informed that your franchise was closing, please contact us.
