Nordstrom and HauteLook Fake Rolex Watch Class Action Investigation
Investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Nordstrom Inc. and HauteLook Inc. on behalf of individuals who allege the retail giant misled consumers regarding the value of “vintage” Rolex watches they purchased. It is alleged that customers purchased what they thought to be “authentic” vintage Rolex watches in excellent condition with all their original parts. Despite receiving assurances from Nordstrom Inc. that the watches had been appraised for their amount being paid, it is alleged the watches were actually shipped from jewelers and contained non-Rolex parts—making the watches less valuable than the asking price. It is alleged that the fashion retailers;
• misleadingly represented that watches were being sold at 50%-75% discounts;
• falsely represented that the watches had been appraised when, according to plaintiffs, appraisals were for authentic Rolex watches and not the ones actually shipped; and
• providing photographs of watches that were not the actual ones being sold.
