Nest Labs Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors (Nest Wave and Nest Protect)

Investigating a class action against Nest Labs for defective smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The Nest Protect and the Nest Wave allegedly have a defect that allows people to temporarily disable the alarm by waving their hands in front of the detector. Nest Labs recently announced that it would halt sales of its Nest Protect carbon monoxide detectors. The company said it would remotely disable this feature from Nest Wave smoke detectors already purchased.
