Nationwide Interest Minimizer Class Action Investigation

Investigating a class action lawsuit on behalf of homeowners who enrolled in an “interest minimizer” program with Nationwide Biweekly Administration. This program was advertised as allowing consumers to make bi-weekly payments on their mortgage to Nationwide, who would then transfer to the mortgage payment to the mortgage holder. However, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau alleges that Nationwide misrepresented to consumers how much they would save in interest and the price of the fees Nationwide takes from the homeowner. For example, Nationwide advertises that 100% of consumers’ extra payments are transferred to the mortgage company, but they actually retain a $995 setup fee. If you enrolled in Nationwide’s “interest minimizer” program, please contact us.
