Minnesota DUI GPS Tracking Class Action Investigation
Investigating a class action on behalf of individuals who had an interlock device installed in their vehicle as part of a DUI sentence. In Minnesota, it was determined that the devices installed in cars also contained a GPS function, which was not made clear to individuals. The Fourth Amendment of the Constitution prohibits illegal searches and seizures and the Supreme Court has previously stated that involuntary GPS tracking by the government is illegal. If you had an interlock device installed in your car and suspect that it also has GPS abilities, please contact us. |
