Hyundai Elantra and Kia Forte Nu Engine Failures

Join Class Action
Investigating a class action lawsuit against Hyundai and Kia for alleged premature engine failures in certain 2011-16 Hyundai Elantra and 2013-16 Kia Forte LX vehicles containing “Nu” 1.8 liter engines.  It is alleged that these models may contain a defect predisposing the engines to experience engine bearing failure, connecting rod knock and/or engine oil sludge. As a result, these issues lead to catastrophic engine failure along with safety issues and costly repairs.  Unfortunately, Hyundai and Kia often decline to repair and/or replace the defective engines under warranty.  As a result, current and former owners and lessees are often forced to pay for such repairs out-of-pocket.  If you have experienced engine failure with your Hyundai Elantra or Kia Forte with a Nu 1.8L engine, please submit your information.
