Investigating lawsuits against Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington for allegations that an emergency room nurse infected with Hepatitis C was injecting herself with a partial dose of narcotics intended for her patients and then injecting the remaining dose with the same needle into her patients. Approximately 2,600 emergency room patients who received injections of narcotics, antihistamines or sedatives while the nurse was on duty between August 4, 2017, and March 23, 2018 need to be tested. Thus far, two patients have tested positive for Hepatitis C.
