Ford Transit Vans Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Ford Motor Company due to the van’s faulty driveshaft flexible coupling, or flex disc included in model years 2015-2017 Ford Transit vans.  The flex disc is made of flexible rubber that can wear out and crack over  time.  The flex disc failure occurs without warning.  It can lead to catastrophic failure with severely damaged brake and fuel lines.   In 2017, Ford issued a recall to replace the worn flex discs with the same part and advised vehicle owners to replace the flex discs every 30,000 miles as part of the vehicle's routine maintenance.  It is alleged that Ford knew about the problem prior to the sale of the vehicles but proceeded with the faulty design. If you own or lease a 2015-2017 Ford Transit van and have experienced issues with the flex disc, please contact us.
