Electrolux Dishwasher Fire Class Action 

Investigating a class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers against Electrolux, the makers of Frigidaire dishwashers. Frigidaire dishwashers are designed with a heating coil placed at the bottom of the machine in order to heat detergent and to dry dishes. Consumers have reported instances of the heating coil malfunctioning, overheating, then catching fire. If the coil overheats or catches fire it cannot only start a larger fire in the kitchen, but burn through the base of the dishwasher causing water to rush out underneath, which could lead to electrical fires.
