AXA Athena Universal Life II Class Action Investigation

Investigating a class action on behalf of individuals who hold a life insurance policy from AXA Athena Universal Life II. AXA markets its policy has being cost effective because it only charges the customer a premium necessary to cover the cost of insurance. This life insurance product is called a flexible premium universal life insurance policy and allows its holders to minimize premium payments. However, consumers have reported that AXA has drastically increased its premium charges, particularly for those policy holders over the age of 70 and with policies worth over $1 million. The increases in premiums force consumers to pay charges that make the ultimate death benefit seem inadequate and allows AXA to avoid paying out the policy. If you are a holder of an AXA flexible premium universal life insurance policy, please contact us.
