Armourcard Class Action

Investigating a class action on behalf of individuals who purchased an Armourcard marketed as having Forcefield Radio Frequency Identification protection. Armourcard markets this card as having battery boosted, active jamming technology that is FCC registered, approved or compliant.  Radio Frequency Identification (“RFID”) protection cards are designed to help protect against electronic pickpocketing, also known as “RFID skimming.”  It is alleged that the card is falsely marketed as “the only RFID protection product certified by the FCC” despite the fact that federal law prohibits the use, sale, and manufacture of jamming devices such as the Armourcard.  The Armourcard is emblazoned with the Federal Communications Commission logo, which, it is alleged, falsely represents that the FCC has approved and authorized it with active jamming technology.  If you purchased an Armourcard, please contact us.
