Allstate Claimants Forced to Undergo Non-Independent Medical Exam Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a class action lawsuit on behalf of Allstate policy holders. It is alleged that Allstate requires claimants to first undergo a medical examination by an Allstate chosen physician before they can receive benefits. It is further alleged that this policy violates Pennsylvania law which mandates that insurers may not refuse to pay out benefits unless they have a court order showing they have “good cause” for doing so. If you are a PA resident insured by Allstate, and were asked to see a doctor of their choice for a medical exam before receiving your benefits, please contact us.
