Prudential Long-Term Care Insurance “Inflation Protector” Charges – Class Action Investigation
Investigating a class action lawsuit on behalf of individuals who purchased long-term care insurance from Prudential. It has been reported that Prudential has implemented automatic rate hikes for its long-term care insurance policies. Prudential is allegedly charging certain customers for an “Inflation Protector” charge, which can represent a 45% increase in annual premium costs. This is a change from past practices, when Prudential customers were given the option of opting in to the inflation protection coverage. If you or someone you know is a long-term care policy holder with Prudential or has had to pay an automatic “Inflation Protector” charge, please contact us. |
