Lowe's Flooring Installation Class Action

Investigating a class action on behalf of individuals who had flooring installed by Lowe's Home Improvement.  It is alleged that Lowe's advertised flooring installation prices on a “per square-foot basis" but then charged customers fees based on the square footage of materials ordered and not the square footage of the actual project area.  It is alleged that the installation charge was a rough calculation based on the material ordered. The installation charge was calculated roughly upon the amount of material ordered, not the size of the project.  The New York Attorney General recently announced a $1 million settlement with Lowe's related to this deceptive practice.  If you purchased basic installation services from Lowe's between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2012, please contact us.
