Jeep Defective Shifting Class Action Lawsuit
Investigating a class action lawsuit on behalf of individuals who purchased or leased a 2012-14 Dodge Charger, 2012-14 Chrysler 300 or 2014-15 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is alleged that these vehicles have a manufacturing defect in the shifting mechanism causing them to rollaway and resulting in severe injuries and property damage. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) started to investigate the defect in 2015 and released a report critical of the shifting mechanism and warning drivers of possible injuries. Fiat Chrysler announced a recall of 1.1 million vehicles to address the issue in April 2016, but they have not implemented the repairs. The defect has caused hundreds of accidents and numerous injuries. If you own or lease a 2012-14 Dodge Charger, 2012-14 Chrysler 300 or 2014-15 Jeep Grand Cherokee, please contact us. |
