The class action lawsuit against Activision for alleged false advertising relating to Guitar Hero has been voluntarily dismissed. Customers purchased the game because of the marketing claims of the game's 24/7 access that is constantly updated. However, Activision revealed in early June 2018 that it is shutting down the game on December 1, 2018. This means that as of December 1, 92% of the songs in the game will be unplayable. With only a small segment of the songs available, the gaming experience will be severely affected. Activision recently announced a voluntary refund program. You must file a clam by May 1, 2019. Here is a link to the program.
