BioTherapex Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a potential class action lawsuit against HRL for false advertising and unsupported product claims for its product, BioTherapex. Using a direct mail brochure styled as a scientific journal with fictitious doctor and and consumer testimonials, HRL claimed the product could treat arthritis, relieve joint and back pain, and cause significant weight loss. A 1,200 person clinical study was presented in the brochure to support these claims; this study was allegedly never conducted. In addition HRL engaged in other deceptive practices regarding its risk-free trial period, enrolled customers in auto renewal plans without their knowledge and consent, and failed to disclose the refund and cancellation policy. If you purchased BioTherapex, please contact us.
