Audi A3 Emissions Class Action
Investigating a class action on behalf of individuals who purchased or leased a 2009-2015 four-cylinder Volkswagen and Audi diesel vehicle. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency accused Volkswagen of selling these vehicles with software designed to evade federal nitrogen oxide emissions standards in violation of the Clean Air Act. The EPA alleges that the diesel cars are equipped with a software algorithm that detects when the car is undergoing official emissions testing and turns full emissions controls on only during the test. As a result, the vehicles' emissions controls do not work as effectively during normal driving situations and the vehicles are emitting NOx pollutants at up to 40 times the federal standard. If you purchased or leased a diesel model Volkswagen Jetta, Beetle and Golf from the 2009 to 2015, Volkswagen Passat from 2014 to 2015 or an Audi A3 from the 2009 to 2015, please contact us. |
