Westinghouse Closes South Carolina Nuclear Plants Employee WARN Act Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a class action lawsuit against Westinghouse Electric Co. LLC on behalf of former employees who lost their jobs when it shut down the construction of two nuclear reactor plants in South Carolina. It is alleged that Westinghouse violated the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) by failing to provide employees with 60-day notice of their termination when it cancelled planned plant construction.
