Toyota Prius Faulty Inverter Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Toyota for alleged defect in the 2010-2014 model year Prius vehicles equipped with faulty inverters.  Toyota issued a recall in 2016 to repair the issue but instead of replacing the $2,000 inverter (as they did when the problem occurred in previous model Toyota Highlanders), they chose to implement an $80 software fix which did not eliminate the problem.  A faulty inverter can cause the vehicle to overheat, leaving drivers stranded in traffic.  If you own a 2010-2014 Toyota Prius and have experienced issues with overheating, please contact us.
