Pedigree Dentastix Dog Treats False Advertising Class Action Investigation
Investigating a class action against Pedigree on behalf of individuals who purchased Dentastix dog treats. The National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus recently issued a statement disputing the claims made by Pedigree that its Dentastix dog treats reduce tarter build up by up to 80%. The NAD stated that clinical tests show that the actual reduction of tartar buildup in dogs was approximately 47%. The NAD alleges that Pedigree reclassified test subjects to allegedly overstate the effectiveness of Dentastix dog treats in reducing tartar buildup.
