Gallatin and Nashville Residents Coal Waste Environmental Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a class action on behalf of Gallatin and Nashville, Tennessee, residents against the operators of the Gallatin Fossil Plant. The electricity plant is located 30 miles from Nashville on the Cumberland River and produces 200,000 tons of coal residue a year. For decades, coal ash has seeped into the water in the surrounding plants and properties. EPA reports have determined that coal ash has also made its way into the drinking water reservoirs that service Gallatin, Nashville, and the surrounding towns. Coal ash contains arsenic, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals--all of which are detrimental to human health. If you are a Gallatin, Nashville, or a resident of a surrounding town, please contact us if you believe your drinking water has been contaminated or you have become sick from the water.
