Funai Television Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Funai Corporation due to its production of nonperforming 32" flat screened televisions sold at WalMart during Black Friday promotions in 2013 and 2014. It is alleged that the televisions cease to function within one to two years of purchase. The typical course of events is that a red light appears; however, the picture and sound are not functional. Hundreds of customers have complained about this issue and have been instructed by Funai to troubleshoot it by unplugging the television, removing the batteries from the remote, and restarting it which does not solve the problem. When nonperformance continues, consumers are informed that the product is outside of the timeline of the warranty so they are responsible for repair costs. If you purchased a Funai 32" flat screened television in 2013 or 2014 and have experienced these performance issues, please contact us.
