EpiPen Pricing Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
Investigating a class action lawsuit against Mylan – the manufacturers of EpiPen. EpiPen is an epinephrine auto-injector used to slow the symptoms of an allergic reaction before an individual reaches a hospital. Recently, Mylan increased the price of EpiPens 500%, forcing consumers to bear the costs of a potentially life-saving drug that needs to be purchased annually. Consumers of EpiPens know they are sold in packs of two, which makes each purchase of the product more expensive. However, there is little consensus over whether doctors even recommend the drug be sold in pairs, because each pen should be equally effective. If you are prescribed EpiPens for susceptibility to allergic reactions or are the parent of a child who is prescribed EpiPens, please contact us. |
