Amazon In-App Purchase Class Action
Investigating a class action on behalf of individuals who were charged by Amazon for in-app purchases without first consenting to the charge. It is alleged that children can easily make in-app purchases without first requiring a parent's informed consent. Amazon waited until June 2014 to modify this practice despite an FTC investigations and a $32.5 million settlement by Apple for similar practices.
