3M Lava Ultimate Restorative

Are you a dentist who has out of pocket expenses for failed crowns?
Investigating a potential class action on behalf of dentists related to the Lava Ultimate Restorative resin sold by 3M and its subsidiary, 3M ESPE.   In July 2015, the FDA announced a Class II classification for the recalled devices. It has been alleged that the Lava Ultimate resin is defective and debonds at rates substantially higher than competing products.  It has been further alleged that 3M marketed the Lava Ultimate to dentists as durable and suitable for many types of indirect dental restorations, including crowns.  If you or someone you know purchased 3M’s Lava Ultimate Restorative for their dental practice, please contact us.
